NATIONAL DEBATE COMPETITION 'DISCOURSE 2K20'

  ONLINE DEBATE COMPETITION “Discourse 2K20”   Topic for the competition:  “Farm bills: Are India’s new reforms beneficial or harmful for farmers?” OR "Amidst the wake of pandemic, will reopening of the schools and colleges be a good idea?" Here are the rules for 'Discourse 2K20’:  1. All the U.G students from any of the recognized university/college are eligible  2. Each participant shall record a 5 minutes video.  3. Each participant shall clearly mention his/her allotted code number in the beginning itself.  4. The participant should clearly mention his/her motion regarding the topic i.e. either for/ against. 5. The participant should be in formal attire.  Judgment Criteria:  1. You shall be marked on the basis of content, body language, intonations, confidence and time management.  2. Deviation from the topic shall lead to negative marking.  3. Exceeding the time limit shall lead to negative marking.  4. The decision of the judges shall be final.

 CASE COMMENTARY COMPETITION Rules & Regulations Eligibility: • Students pursuing LL.B., i.e., 3-year or 5-year Law course from any recognized university/college are eligible for this competition. • No co-authorship shall be allowed.  Submission Guidelines: • Word limit – Minimum 1500 words & Maximum 2000 words (including footnotes) • Format – MS Word; font – Times New Roman • Font size – 12 for manuscript, 14 for Headings, 10 for footnotes • Page numbers – bottom center • The case comment must be written in English. • Line Spacing – 1.5 for text and 1.0 for footnotes • Alignment – Justified and layout must be A4 size • Margin – One inch each side • The citation methodology to be followed is Harvard Bluebook (19th Edition). • Any kind of plagiarism shall not be allowed. NATIONAL ONLINE LAW QUIZ 2K20

 NATIONAL ONLINE LAW QUIZ COMPETITION, 2020 Eligibility- This Law quiz is open for all the students of 5 year law and 3 year LLB course from any of the recognized University/College. The Quiz will be conducted through two rounds: the Preliminary Round and the Main Round. Important Rules and Guidelines for the Law Quiz: • The quiz will contain a total of 50 questions. It will be conducted through Google Forms. • There shall be no negative marking.  • The medium of the quiz will be English only. • The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).  • The participants shall have maximum 20 min to attempt all the questions. • No requests for extra time will be entertained whatsoever.
